In Times of Brokenness

Earth is Gods

“Thus says the Lord: Heaven is My throne, and the earth is My footstool. What kind of house would you build for Me? And what kind can be My resting place? For all these things My hand has made, and so all these things, have come into being by and for Me, says the Lord. But this is the man to whom I will look and have regard: he who is humble and of a broken or wounded spirit, and who trembles at My word and reveres My commands.” (Isaiah 66:1-2)

Everything in existence has its origin in God. Everything belongs to Him because He created it: including you and me. He has no need of anything from anybody. It’s what He WANTS that is key here and He WANTS you and me to love Him of our own willingness and want. He is actually looking for it. Where does He look? He looks to the humble and those who are broken and crying out to Him. Those who love His Word and want to obey Him.

Don’t think for a minute that He doesn’t see you; that He is unaware of every tear that falls to the ground. In the times of brokenness and despair–that is when He is just a whisper away. “Jesus save me…” will bring Him on the scene. I’ve experienced it time and time again. In the times of brokenness is when you experience more intimacy with Him than you ever have before. Are you broken today? He’s just a whisper away…

Blessings everyone…
