Deep Roots

“Have the roots [of your being] firmly and deeply planted [in Him, fixed and founded in Him], being continually built up in Him, becoming increasingly more confirmed and established in the faith, just as you were taught, and abounding and overflowing in it with thanksgiving.” (Colossians 2:7)

The deeper our roots are in Him, the less likely we are to be swayed by every wind of doctrine that floats by. There are all kinds of crazy teachings going around that have erred from the Word. Those of us who know the Word and have it hidden in our hearts, will recognize erroneous teachings when we hear it.

How do we get our roots firmly and deeply planted in Him? By spending time in fellowship with Him and by reading and studying His Word. You just can’t go deep enough in God. There is no end to Him.

The more intimate you go in Him, the stronger your foundation becomes. In these last days, there are many scoffers, but they just don’t know Him. They don’t even know what they are missing out on!

The deeper we go into God, the brighter our light is going to shine. People are going to take one look at our face and know that we have seen God face to face. The lost around us will remember it when their lives fall apart. They’ll come to us for prayer, for help to meet Jesus.

Keep digging in deeper beloved, He’s going to use YOU in a mighty way!

Blessings everyone…
