“The LORD (God) says to my Lord (the Messiah), Sit at My right hand, until I make Your adversaries Your footstool. The Lord will send forth from Zion the scepter of Your strength; rule, then, in the midst of Your foes.” (Psalm 110:1-2)

To those who are in Christ Jesus, this scripture is a source of great comfort! You know, when the Father speaks, when the Most High God says something it will come to pass. Because we are in Christ Jesus, we are to rule in the midst of our foes.

Who are our foes? Satan and his army of fallen angels are first and foremost our enemies. What stirs them up against us? Prayer, witnessing, laying hands on the sick, casting out devils…all the things Jesus told us to do before He went back to the Father’s right hand.

The key word here is RULE. God has given us the power and authority to rule in the midst of our foes. When you begin to fulfill the great commission in Matthew 28, you will see your foes rise up against you. They can rise up all day long, but you still have the power and authority to RULE through Jesus Christ, in your life.

How do you rule? You rule through prayer. When people rise up against you to destroy you because of the Light in you, pray for them. I mean really pray for their salvation and for God’s plan to be fulfilled in their life. When you do this, heaven is activated towards them. God’s attention and light shines on them. Angels are sent to work in their life to bring them to Him.  God is ALWAYS looking for intercessors for the lost.  The last thing the devil wants is heaven’s attention on someone he is using against you!

You rule through your words and God’s Word. Your world can be completely changed by the words of your mouth speaking God’s Word out of it. Try it…you’ll be amazed.

Blessings everyone…
