The Power of the Bible

“Blessed are the undefiled, who walk and order their conduct and conversation in the law of the Lord; the whole of God’s revealed will). Blessed are they who keep His testimonies, who seek inquire for and of Him and crave Him with the whole heart. Yes, they do no unrighteousness [no willful wandering from His precepts]; they walk in His ways.” (Psalm 119:1-3)

The law of the Lord is the Bible and the Bible is without a doubt the most precious possession you and I have. In America, we take for granted the freedom to openly read and carry a Bible. In North Korea if you are caught with a Bible, you will be thrown into a concentration camp to die. In Iraq or Syria, you will be beheaded or shot on the spot by terrorists.

Just having a Bible is a blessing. But why waste time by not reading and studying it? The Bible is God’s heart to us. His Word is so deep that I believe even an atheist, would eventually find Him if they kept reading the Bible day after day. It is that powerful.

If we could grasp the power that is right in our hands. Speaking God’s Word out over our lives and struggles will change it! God’s Word–the Bible–is powerful enough to change your life too. I challenge you to take a month and read one verse every day–anywhere in the Bible–and see what happens in a month. God will move towards you, when you take that first step towards Him. He loves you!

Blessings everyone…
