“Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me; bless His holy Name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits–Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from the pit and corruption, Who beautifies, dignifies, and crowns you with loving-kindness and tender mercy; Who satisfies your mouth with good so that your youth, renewed, is like the eagle’s: strong, overcoming and soaring!” (Psalm 103:1-5)
King David is praising the Lord for the work He will do on the Cross in this scripture. Hundreds of years before Jesus went to the Cross, David was praising God for it! In the time of King David, God did heal and forgive people at times. However, the resurrection of Jesus Christ has given us unprecedented access to the presence of God. That is something to shout about!
We are living in the most exciting time in history to be a child of God. Think about it, in spite of the fearful and perilous times we are living in, the knowledge of the deep things of God are being revealed! Jesus foretold that knowledge would be greatly increased…well, it’s not just science and technology knowledge. It’s the knowledge of the things of God that has increased greatly too.
Knowledge of praise and worship, spiritual warfare and intercessory prayer, the love of God, the prophetic words and miracles…most importantly, the knowledge of the character of God INTIMATELY! He is revealing to passionate, sold out believers the path to deep intimacy with Him!
God has placed before you and I a “no limits” policy in the Kingdom of God. There are no limits to the knowledge of God. He is completely and totally unfathomable. You can never find the end of God. I totally get Enoch. Enoch went so deep into God that He walked on into Heaven in his physical body! He did it through faith and God counted it to him as righteousness.
These days are incredibly perilous for Christians all over the world. We in America are beginning to get a taste of it. In our government, in the workplace, and even in our churches as people fall away from the Truth of the Gospel. The best protection we have is to go deep into God. He is our Refuge in times of trouble….so run deep into Him!
