So Great A Salvation

“How shall we escape [appropriate retribution] if we neglect and refuse to pay attention to such a great salvation [as is now offered to us, letting it drift pas us forever]? For it was declared at first by the Lord Himself, and it was confirmed to us and proved to be real and genuine by those who personally heard Him speak. It was also established and plainly endorsed by God, Who show His approval of it by signs and wonders and various miraculous manifestations of His power and by imparting the gifts of the Holy Spirit to the believers according to His own will.” (Hebrews 2:3-4)

The salvation that Jesus paid for with His Blood is so much more than a ticket to heaven in the sweet by and by. It is freely offered to everyone who is willing to listen to the Gospel message. It is God’s will that no one perish but all come to Him through Jesus Christ.

The salvation that Jesus purchased is complete with total victory available to believers for the taking. Granted, it has to be TAKEN. Healing, provisions, deliverance from oppression and peace all have to be taken away from the enemy. Jesus overcame Him and because HE did WE CAN!

When someone truly accepts Jesus as their Savior, the power of the Holy Spirit comes to bring signs and wonders and fill them. We are all like a car. A car just sits there until someone puts the key in the ignition and turns it. It comes to life and then it can really go places! Jesus is the Key and when He turns the key, the Holy Spirit starts our engine and then we too can really go places for Him.

There are so many people who are just letting this wonderful gift pass them by and it has eternal consequences. Look around you, your family and friends, your co-workers–so many not considering what God has done for them.

Those of us who have accepted Him and are looking forward to an eternal home with Him, can’t just sit back and let others miss out! We must pray for them–every day–we must cry out for their salvation. You think it won’t make a difference? Think again…God is on the move in these days. He is looking for intercessors–people to pray for the lost–to stand in the gap for them.

Beloved, start today. Look around you and start praying. Start stepping out to reach out to them with the love of God. He will support you with signs and wonders and miracles! It’s all about souls to God. Be a fisher of men!

Blessings everyone…
