The End of Ourselves

“Seek, inquire for, and require the Lord while He may be found [claiming Him by necessity and by right]; call upon Him while He is near.  Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to the Lord, and He will have love, pity, and mercy for him, and to our God, for He will multiply to him His abundant pardon.  For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, says the Lord.  For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.”  (Isaiah 55:6-9)

As human beings, we tend to put human emotions on everything.  Our pets and even on God.  But God says that His thoughts are higher and His ways are higher than ours.  What we may think as the end of the world is nothing in God’s sight.  From where He sits, He can look down at the road we are on and see through time to the end result.  He sees the end of everyone’s road and if that road ends in destruction, He begins to move people in and out of our lives to bring us to Him if we choose to.  Opportunity after opportunity He brings us throughout our lifetime.

We all eventually come to the end of ourselves and that is where the crossroad is.  Do I take His path or keep going down my path?  Someone will present the gospel to you once again.  Perhaps if you are reading this and you know He’s calling you.  Once again you feel that pull and that fear of change.  He is near right now to some who read this.

Are you at the end of yourself? Today, forsake your way and turn to Him for He will abundantly pardon and have love, pity and mercy towards you!  Once you take that first step, it gets easier and easier to walk back to Him.  He will run to meet you.  He is the God of the second, third, fourth…chances.  How can He love like this?  His ways are higher and beyond our ability to comprehend.  Just praise Him that He does!

Don’t know Him?

Meet Jesus Here…

Blessings everyone…
