The Greatest Love of All

“For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He even gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in, (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.

For God did not send the Son into the world in order to judge (to reject, to condemn, to pass sentence on) the world, but that the world might find salvation and be made safe and sound through Him.” (John 3:16-17)

Up until recently, America has been a Christian nation and this scripture was very common to most everyone.  Today however, in “post-Christian” America this scripture is relatively unknown.  It’s sad when I think about how far this nation has traveled away from Jehovah God.  Now many other gods have risen up in this country and Jehovah has been pushed out by all but a remnant of believers.

Regardless of all that, God still greatly loves and dearly prizes the world.  He loves everyone who hates Him and He is still reaching out to them to save them.  You see, everyone who is born, is headed for hell.  We are all born into a rebellious and sinful world that desperately needs a Savior.  We are all born with our spirit-man dead.  When we accept and receive Jesus Christ into our hearts, God “breathes” His life into us and we are reborn in the Spirit and our eternity with Him begins.

Our lives move off the highway to hell and into the narrow road to Heaven.  We are “saved” from eternal destruction.  God sees the beginning from the end.  He is not limited by time.  He sees every possible ending to our lives and He works tirelessly to bring us to the place where we freely come to Him and accept His lifeline of salvation.  He never stops trying all the days of our lives.  “For God so greatly loved and dearly prized” us that He gave and gave and gave.

Every prayer His people pray for the lost ones is precious to Him.  They never fall to the ground unnoticed by Him.  Each one is kept and assigned to an angel to carry out His purposes.  If you are praying and believing God for lost loved ones, don’t give up.  Don’t think they are impossible to reach because every prayer you pray on their behalf makes a big smile come across the face of the Father.  He wants them more than you do because He loves them more than you do.  Keep bombarding heaven with your prayers for the salvation of ALL people because God so greatly loves them and wants them in the kingdom of God.

Blessings everyone…
