Colossians is an awesome and powerful book full of equally powerful words! Use this prayer as a way to worship and declare God’s goodness and Truth over your life today!
Father, I thank You that Jesus Christ’s resurrection is my resurrection too! Therefore, I yearn for all that is above, for that’s where Christ sits enthroned at the place of all power, honor, and authority! Hallelujah! Yes, I choose today to feast on all the treasures of the heavenly realm and fill my thoughts with heavenly realities, and not with the distractions of the natural realm.
Father, I thank You that my crucifixion with Jesus Christ has severed the tie to this life for me, and now my true life is hidden away in You in Jesus! And as Jesus Christ Himself is seen for who He is, who I really am will also be revealed, for I know that I am now one with Him in His glory!
Father, today I choose to live as one who has died to every form of sexual sin and impurity. I choose to live as one who died to diseases, and desires for forbidden things, including the desire for wealth, which I know is idol worship in Your sight. I choose today to be obedient to Your will and Your ways because I know that those who live in these vices ignite Your anger against such disobedience. Not me Lord! I love You too much.
Father, I thank You that I have eliminated and am eliminating from my life once and for all ––anger, fits of rage, all forms of hatred, cursing, filthy speech and lying. I choose today to lay aside my old adam-self with its masquerade and disguise. Because Now Lord, I have acquired new creation life! I am being continually renewed into the likeness of the One who created me. You give me the full revelation of God, Lord Jesus! I believe that this new creation life, my nationality makes no difference or my ethnicity, education, or economic status––they matter nothing to You! Hallelujah! It is Jesus Christ that means everything because He lives big on the inside of me!
Father, I thank You and I know that I am always and dearly loved by You! Today I choose to robe myself with the virtues of God, since I know I have been divinely chosen to be holy. I choose today Lord to be merciful as I endeavor to understand others; to look at them through Your eyes. I choose today Father, to be compassionate, and show kindness towards all those people I come across today. I choose to tolerate the weaknesses of those in the family of faith, and I choose to not become offended at the opinions of others. I choose today Lord, to forgive even as You have forgiven me. Let Your graciousness become my graciousness O Lord! Father, I realize that forgiveness is a powerful gift and even as I have received forgiveness, so I choose to release it to others today.
Father, thank You for Agape Love! This love is supreme, and I choose to let it flow through me today. I choose to strive to reach the mark of Love because I believe that Your love is the mark of true maturity in You. Let my heart always be guided by Your peace O Lord! For I know that You have called me to peace as part of Your One body. I am thankful today for You and I always will be.
Father, let the Word of Christ live in my richly, flooding me with all wisdom. Let this be the hallmark of my life O God! I choose today to apply the scriptures as I teach and instruct others in the way of righteousness. Let all my activities today Lord, every word that comes from my lips, be drenched with the beauty of my Lord Jesus, the Anointed One. I choose to bring constant praise to You Father because of what Jesus has done for me! I can’t ever thank You enough!
Father, today I choose to live my life with a pure heart in the constant awe and wonder of You, my Lord and Savior. I choose today to put my heart and soul into every activity on my “to do” list. Everything I do today Lord is an act of worship unto You to bring glory to Your Holy name. I know that I will receive a reward, an inheritance from You as I serve Yehovah, the Anointed One! I am a disciple of Christ and I know that I will be repaid for what I have learned and followed, for You Lord, pay no attention to the titles and prestige of men. Hallelujah!
