The Little Farm in Nepal

Hi everyone, I have been involved in a church in western Nepal for the past few years and have seen tremendous spiritual growth as well as people-growth in this wonderful group of believers.  The church started with a handful of women and the pastor praying for the fledgling church every day.  Today, three years later there are over five hundred people.  God took it from the smallest church in the area to the biggest all through the power of prayer.

In 2016, we did a Pastors School where we trained twenty young men on how to establish and run a powerful church.  We did this week in and week out for nine months.  The strategy was simple, yet so powerful.  We believed God for bicycles and He provided through generous people, twenty brand new bicycles for the young men.  After the school ended, they simply got on their bicycles and went two by two to the surrounding areas.  From that effort, eight solid churches are now established.  Financial hardships forced some of the young men to go find work in India.

The Lord dropped an ingenious idea into Pastor Raj’s heart: build a sustainable farm to fund the work of the ministries.  So, they began to pray and call “those things that be not, as though they are.”  So far, they have built a brick wall around the entire property as they intend to not only have the farm, but also they intend to build a baptismal pool there.  They want to have milk cows and goats as well as vegetables to sell in the local markets.  This will bring the local community to them and who knows?  They may even meet Jesus as they are buying milk!

A good friend and partner, Cynthia W. has set up a GoFundMe page to gather funds for this project.  I have attached the link at the bottom of this post to give you an opportunity to be a part of this wonderful effort.  The goal of this church is to win two thousand souls to Jesus by 2024.  Like the Bible says “how can they hear, if there is no preacher?”  Please seek the Lord about what He would have you sow into this beautiful project.  Whatever the amount, God will richly bless you and you will have a share in every soul won to Jesus over the next years!  You will be storing up treasures in heaven like Jesus told us to.

Please also like and share this post to your social media pages to help spread the opportunity to win souls in Nepal!  God bless you all and Merry Christmas!
