The Shepherd

“I will seek that which was lost and bring back that which has strayed, and I will bandage the hurt and the crippled and will strengthen the weak and the sick, but I will destroy the fat and the strong [who have become hard-hearted and perverse]; I will feed them with judgment and punishment.” (Ezekiel 34:16)

How many people are “out there” away from God right now? They once were close to Him, and loved Him with all their hearts but got hurt by life and other people. Disappointments drove them to give up. Does God give up on them? No, He doesn’t. He goes after them.

He calls for them and goes after them. He continually works in their lives through the prayers of the prayers of the intercessors that He raises up for them. He works in the circumstances they are in to bring them to a place of decision. To either Return or stay out. Even if they choose to stay out, He continues to work to bring them around again and again. He is so patient and longsuffering towards us!

He goes after His children who have fallen into drug addiction or alcoholism or adultery or perversion. He is perfectly willing to roll up His sleeves and get His hands in the muck and mire to bring out one of His own.

The Bible says “woe to those by whom these little ones are offended, it is better that a millstone is placed around their neck and they are cast into the sea.” All too often, it’s the “fat and the strong [who have become hard-hearted and perverse]” who offended the little ones!

“Father, I pray for the little ones who are away from You today. Let them come to the place where they can return to You for healing and restoration.”

If you know Him and you are “out there”, He’s not mad at you. He wants to heal and restore you. All He needs from you is a “yes Lord Help me!”

Meet Jesus Here…

Blessings everyone…
