“Truly I tell you, whatever you forbid and declare to be improper and unlawful on earth must be what is already forbidden in heaven, and whatever you permit and declare proper and lawful must be what is already permitted in heaven.  Again I tell you, if two of you on earth agree (harmonize together, make a symphony together) about whatever [anything and everything] they may ask, it will come to pass and be done for them by My Father in heaven.  For wherever two or three are gathered (drawn together as My followers) in My Name there I AM in the midst of them.” (Matthew 18:18-20)

As believers, we have been given authority by Jesus Christ to carry out His will on earth.  We are supposed to bring the Kingdom into the earth.  A Kingdom, He paid for with His Blood.  All authority and power has been given to Jesus Christ, and He has authorized you and me to establish the Kingdom.

This authority is very powerful, but it has to agree with heaven.  We have to have the legal backing of the Court of Heaven.  The enemy cannot stand against a legal ruling from the Court of Heaven.  He is completely shut down.  What does this mean?

Suppose you are having financial difficulties and you are a born-again child of God.  The Word of God says that financial provisions belong to you.

“And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19)

“Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?” (Matthew 6:26)

“Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.” (Luke 6:38)

These scriptures are our legal backing that God wants to bless us financially.  We can speak and put our faith into His Words to bring it to pass.  FAITH is the key word here.  Faith must be present to activate anything in the Kingdom of God.

The second part of this is the power of agreement.  Once we know we have the agreement of heaven, then we can get agreement of other people.  The power of people agreeing in prayer gets God’s attention!  He says it right here “again I tell you, if two of you on earth agree (harmonize together, make a symphony together) about whatever [anything and everything] they may ask, it will come to pass and be done for them by My Father in heaven.”

Truly, God has provided everything we need to be victorious in every situation that we face in life.  We have the authority and agreement of heaven.  The ball is in our court to bring the kingdom into our world.
