Faith is Now

“Is the harvested grain any longer in the barn?  As to the grapevine, the fig tree, the pomegranate, and the olive tree–they have not yet borne.  From this day on I will bless you.” (Haggai 2:19)

“Now Faith is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things we hope for, being the proof of things we do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].” (Hebrews 11:1)

The old saying “seeing is believing” won’t cut it in the Kingdom of God.  The opposite is true in the Kingdom.  You must believe in your heart FIRST and then you’ll see it.  Faith is in the NOW.  Hope is always in the future.  Hope is the springboard into faith.

The verse in Haggai shows us that even though we don’t see any fruit at this moment, we are still blessed by God.  Hebrews shows us that faith is in the here and now.  I love how it says “conviction of their reality.”  Faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses.

Conviction is the key here.  A conviction is a core belief.  It is an immovable belief in your heart.  When we can get our hope into faith, we will be able to believe in our heart of the reality of it.  For example, a cancer diagnosis is scary, to say the least.  The hope is to live and not die right?  Take the hope of healing to the Healer and ask Him for healing.  If we trust Him and know Him, we know that He wants to heal us and if we take that hope and turn it into faith, believing and being convicted of the reality of our healing, we will see that healing come to pass.  The same thing with financial breakthroughs or relationship breakthroughs.

Faith is now.  We have to believe NOW and stand and see the salvation of the Lord come to pass in our lives.

Don’t know Him?

Meet Jesus Here…

Blessings everyone…
